Opposite Wall is a home decor and design studio based in Montreal, Canada. We believe our homes are the extension of our lives. They should reflect our personalities, bring us comfort and spark inspiration. Yet, when it came to wall decor, it seemed everything was either too expensive or too impersonal. And since no one should have to choose between style and affordability, we’ve set out to make feel-good decor for all.

What are your frames made of?

Our Oak Frames are made out of FSC-certified oak wood. Our metal frames are made of aluminum sourced from BSCI certified and trustworthy suppliers. All our frames come with shatterproof plexiglass.

How do the sizes work?

The sizes displayed (ie: 8×10 in) refer to the inner sizes of the frame. The frame itself is slightly larger. In the case of an 8x10in frame, the width of the frame is 0.6 in or 1.52 cm.

How do I hang the frames?

We recommend a simple nail or screw. Depending on the wall, you may also need a plastic anchor to keep the screws from loosening over time.

The visible wood grains on this real oak wood picture frame lends it an authentic look. As this is a natural wood product, the colour of the oak may vary slightly from the photo.
LIGHTWEIGHT AND SHATTERPROOF PLEXI COVER: The poster frame comes with a lightweight and durable 1.5 mm thick plexi (a transparent & protective polystyrene sheet) which is protected by a thin scratch-resistant film on both sides. Kindly ensure to peel off the film before use (as shown in images).
EASY TO CLIP AND HANG: These wall photo frames are not only stylish and affordable, they’re durable as well as easy to clip and hang. Can be hung horizontally or vertically to fit in the space available. We recommend using Command picture hanging strips.
WHAT’S INCLUDED: Posters and hanging accessories are NOT INCLUDED. All poster frames are packaged and shipped in a robust corrugated cardboard box. The frame corners are extra protected with separate cardboard corners.
